Natalie B. Baker
Painter

Natalie Baker spent the summer of 1958 at Hans Hoffman's studio in Provincetown, MA. Below are three drawings which she began and which Hoffman drew over as "corrections". Hoffman's strong lines and shading are evident throughout.

Natalie was very influenced by Hoffman and his monograph The Search for the Real. For the rest of her life in her classes she preached push and pull and she used push and pull as a guiding force in all her paintings.
