Michael Cammer is an artist based in New Rochelle with a pedigree of Mamaroneck High School, Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and Columbia University followed by a faculty appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx to specialize in microscopy and image analysis.  His main painting interests are in abstraction and a certain tactility or painterliness.  But art as humor or as commentary is a major theme.  These pages feature mostly two dimensional art (landscape, people, drawings, abstraction, cartoons, computer generation), but also show some sculpture and objects.  There are food reviews, art criticism, cultural commentary and other writings.  This web site is mostly visual or text based.
